George Muiruri
George Muiruri is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in insurance, finance, and international development, known for leading digital transformations, expanding market penetration, and fostering strategic partnerships. As Chief Operating Officer at the Insurance Information Bureau, he managed a five-year regional strategy to drive insurance growth in East Africa, focusing on digitalization, partnership coordination, and system integration. Previously, as Head of Retail Mass Market at Old Mutual Kenya, he led mass and microinsurance market development, growing customer acquisition and managing a large, nationwide sales network.
With a background in human resources, George also held key HR leadership roles at Old Mutual and the World Agroforestry Centre, where he implemented high-performance talent strategies across multiple countries. Paul Mwangi Kibicho
